Just a little feedback for you and all the staff at Slanj who were such a help to us . All went well for the wedding in St Lucia. The Hotel staff said they have seen nothing like it, 3 men and a boy in kilts having a dance off against the hotel staff to the melodies of a steel band banging them out. What a nite-tee total of course being a mix of Scots and irish. A japanese journalist also got in on the act taking photos during the wedding photo session (much to the annoyance of our own photographer) so you could well be Big In Japan as they say. He's promised to send us the photos and magazine article when he gets back to Japan. Note to any single guys coming out-the local ladies love the Scottish look. Anyway, cocktails calling just wanted to say a very big thank you. Gary, Glasgow PS. In case you have any other customers getting married in the Caribbean you can tell them the kilts (16 oz) were surprisingly easy to wear-must have been the ventilation-only problem were the cotton shirts but even they were okay-Linen shirts tonight though!! |
