Slanj are delighted to announce the opening of Slanj Originals- their new fashion store, featuring stylish, innovative and contemporary Scottish apparel. Appropriately, the new shop officially opened on Burns Night- the 25th January 2008, and the launch party was a chance for invited guests to have a preview of the new store, whilst enjoying some traditional Scottish hospitality. The Tennants lager, Bunnahabhain whisky, Irn Bru and haggis went down well and a great night was had by all in attendance. Sited next to the flagship kilt store in Glasgow at 71 St Vincent Street, the Slanj Originals store features the exclusively designed Slanj Originals leisure collection, as well as a full range of Caledonian casualwear including classic Scottish retro football shirts, official Tartan Army merchandise and iconic ‘Legends of Football’ t-shirts. Owner Brian Halley says ‘when we first started designing our fashion collection, it was just a bit of fun - but we have been amazed how successful and popular it has become. With our own casual range growing all the time, we felt it was time to bring our collection together with complimentary brands and to open a dedicated Scottish fashion store.’ |
